Procedure for surgery

Pre-examination for day surgery

Before surgery you need a check up to avoid problems.

Case for cataract surgery

Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, refraction test.
Fundus examination for retina status.
Slit lamp microscopy for turbidity of the crystalline lens.
Corneal endothelial cell test for decrease in corneal endothelial cells.
Axial length test for intraocular lens power.
Interview, blood test.

Case for ptosis surgery

Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, refraction test.
Dynamic visual field inspection for state of vision.
Interview, blood test.

Case for retinal vitreous surgery

Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, refraction test.
Fundus examination for retina status.

Case for cataract surgery

Anesthesia with eye drops and partial injection. After that make an incision in a bag that wraps the lens.
Remove and crush with ultrasound cloudy crystalline lens contents.
Insert an artificial lens.(intraocular lens)
Transparent intraocular lens into a crystalline lens bag.
Surgery time takes about 10mins.

Case for ptosis surgery

Check for excess skin and levator function. And draw on your skin before the surgery.
Start to do the surgery with no pain after partial anesthesia.
Skin incision by carbon dioxide laser, expose eyelid and peel off levator fold muscle apooneurosis.
Expose mueller muscle.
Shrink mueller muscle then muscle buildup.
Make single or double eyelid then sew on the skin.
Compression fixation by gauze and then the surgery is done.
After finishing the surgery, cool the eyelids and take a little rest then go home.

Case for preretinal fibrosis（Macular anterior membrane）

Remove vitreous.
Remove the thin fibrous membrane on the retina.

After surgery

Red blood may appear in the eyes and other symptoms may occur soon after or for 2 weeks.

But it will be better in a few days or 1-2 weeks.

About transfer

After the surgery, we will take you home by car for free.
and also we can suggest some hotels near our clinic.
